protocols.io: Best Practices

protocols.io has generated a guide protocol of best practices when writing a protocol. It can be found here. It includes tips for making your protocol more reproducible, discoverable, and user-friendly. I recommend reading this protocol in its entirety before getting started. 

1. Make your title as descriptive as possible- you want for people to be able to easily search for and identify your protocol
2. Use keywords- this will help future searchers (including yourself if you have many protocols) identify your protocol easily
3. Use videos and pictures- you can upload videos and pictures in a variety of formats to your protocol. It will greatly enhance your protocol if you include them and will make it easier for novice users to learn from you.
