There are a number of ways that information can be retrieved from the CSHL Institutional Repository.

They include searching by:

How to use these various methods to find the information you want will be outlined below.

Searching by Year

The CSHL Institutional Repository allows you to see all the content published in each calendar year by clicking on the "Year" heading. 

 

If, for example, you are interested in seeing all the papers published by CSHL scientists in a particular year this is an easy way to pull up that information. 

Search by Subject

You can search the CSHL Institutional Repository for subjects of interest. All items deposited in the Repository are tagged with appropriate subject headings. For the full list please refer to the subject search page

 

Search by CSHL Lab

If you would like to see the papers and other research materials produced by each laboratory community at CSHL, you can use the Institutional Repository to search by lab group.

 

Search by CSHL Author

In the CSHL Institutional Repository, you can search for items authored by CSHL scientists. Under the "CSHL Authors" heading, you can find a particular author by clicking the first letter of their last name. 

Advanced Searching

The CSHL Institutional Repository has an Advanced Search function which allows users to search for information based on a number of different search criteria.
