Long Island, NY is a long, narrow island (118 miles long by 23 miles wide) to the east of Manhattan, New York City. It includes Suffolk (Eastern LI) and Nassau (Western LI) Counties, Queens (part of NYC), and Brooklyn (also part of NYC). LaGuardia Airport and JFK International Airport are technically located on Long Island (in Queens). A smaller airport, Long Island MacArthur Airport is located in Ronkonkoma, in Suffolk County.
