Use It Or Loose It-- eJournals

In years past, usage was the only criterion for renewal of an e-Journal subscription; for 2012, we are adding cost per download as an economical consideration. Because most articles can be efficiently obtained through Inter-Library Loan for $11 per PDF copy, the Library Committee has approved an upper limit of $50 per download. E-Journals showing a higher cost per download will be considered for cancellation. Certain titles might be missed more than others, and we will re-subscribe upon request. The goal is to reduce cost while not affecting the high quality of research work in the Lab. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The Electronic Resources LibGuide

Dear CSHL Library Patron:

Welcome to the Electronic Resources LibGuide!

This LibGuide is used to post information within the scope of the electronic resources collection at the CSHL Library & Archives. Specifically, this refers to online journals, proprietary databases, and eBooks. We will also post other useful information which came through the Science Librarian alongside.
